Tactics in Badminton

Tactics in Badminton depend on the players skill levels.

Basic tactics involve movement and different types of shot around the court and when to use a specific shot for example keeping the shuttle low during the game doesn't give the other player the advantage to take a smash.

Another basic tactic is where to aim for the shuttle to land on the opposing players side of the court and how you want it to land for example a smash would want to be hit at the front of the court straight down to the ground or you could set your player up so the back of the court by playing hard shots to make an open space at the front of the court or vice versa.

Playing different types of games in singles will differ if you're playing doubles as the same tactics won't apply.
